Personal Testimony of Tom LaSalle

I was born in Miami, Florida in 1954 and raised in the Catholic Church..

In 1978, I married Lori and moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We have two adult children, Jason, who is 28 and Julie, who is 26 years old.

On January 6, 1992, with great conviction, after being under the preaching of God's Word, I received Christ as my personal Savior, praying with a Baptist preacher in my driveway

On September 25, 1997, I surrendered to the call of God to serve Him in full-time ministry. I enrolled in the 1998 fall semester at Heartland Baptist Bible College and graduated in May 2002 with a Pastoral Studies degree.

After the clear leading of the Holy Spirit and counseling with my Pastor, I surrendered to serve God in the field of church building across the United States of America. My Commissioning* Service took place on January 29, 2003, by Pastor Sam Davison and Southwest Baptist Church.

• To fulfill the Call of God in building Independent New Testament Baptist Churches.
• To help the Pastor overcome the financial and time burden process of building a new church.
• Dedicated to winning souls through the preaching of God's Word and "one-on-one" soul winning with the local church.

 Personal Testimony of Lori LaSalle

 I was not raised in a Christian home. I didn't know anything about God or the Bible until a few years after we were married, at the age of 25. We went to a church that told me if I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that I am a sinner, and Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins, that if I believed those things, I might get to Heaven. I said, "OK. I believe." But nothing changed in my life, nor did I know it should.

Eleven years later we attended a Baptist church and through the clear preaching of the truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I knew I needed Him as my Savior. I prayed and trusted Christ as my personal Savior on August 11, 1991.

Of the many things I am learning since my salvation, these things are clear to me. God is Holy. I am to love Him with all my heart, soul, and mind. He created me to be the helpmeet to my husband. God's work will be done and He uses those who avail themselves to Him.

When we surrendered to full-time service in 1997, I did not know what God had in store for us, but I know to trust God and however He leads Tom, I am to be there. I count it an honor and a privilege to serve our Lord together.
