Dear Fellow Pastor,
I am excited to inform you of one of our Heartland Baptist Bible College graduates of 2002, Tom LaSalle. Tom and his wife, Lori, served as primary coordinators on the campus renovation project in the summer of 1998. They literally poured themselves into the work day and night, and they were used mightily in those days.
Then Tom entered the first freshman class at HBBC at age 44 and, as I stated, graduated in May of 2002. He then worked on several major projects on campus after becoming a student. The on-campus house, the central dorm (the one-story building), and the boys dorm annex were all projects accomplished under student Tom LaSalle's work and supervision. He has certainly worked hard and played an important part in the progress of the physical campus.
Tom is a plumber by trade, but possesses construction skills from framing, to electrical, to finish work, tile work, etc. He has made his living in construction. Lori, his wife, was a part of the secretarial staff at Southwest Baptist Church, and they have a son and a daughter who were students at Heartland Baptist Bible College. The family has been at Southwest Baptist Church since 1993.
I wish to encourage you to get behind their work. They are hard workers and have a lot to offer in helping churches get their buildings done and save significant sums of money. Tom is a soul winner. While raising support and working on buildings, he has kept his burden for the lost. He will truly endeavor to be a blessing to each church and pastor where he works.
God bless you for your consideration of this worthy couple.
Your Fellow Servant,
Southwest
