Personal Testimony of Matt Guerra
God saved me at the age of 25. HE used a tragic loss of a close friend to get my attention and to realize my need for a Savior. After growing up in an Independent, Fundamental, Bible preaching, “old time” Baptist church, I knew all the right things to say and how to act but I knew that couldn’t save me. In July 2004, I began to pray for the family of my friend, and realized if I had died that night I would be separated from a loving God forever. It was then that I asked to Lord to forgive me and received Him into my heart.
As I stop and think about how God has blessed with a wonderful wife, good church home and a Pastor who is sensitive to the Lord’s leading, I can’t help but wonder what he has in store for me with Cornerstone Baptist Builders
